Gov Seyi Makinde Approves N60million Bursary For Oyo State Indigenes At NLS

Governor Makinde of Oyo state has approved the disbursement of NGN500,000 each to Oyo state students of the Nigerian Law School.

This was made known through the governor's official twitter handle on 6th August, 2019. The governor further reassured about his administration's commitment to continue to prioritise education as the foundation upon which sustainable development will be built.

Governor Makinde, who received a delegation of the Law School students in his office on Tuesday, August 6, charged the students to persevere in the face of challenges.

A statement by the chief press secretary to Governor Makinde, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, quoted the governor as saying that he was approving the sum of N60 million to cater for the 2019/2010 backlog session of Oyo state indigenes in the Nigerian Law School.
He said that his decision was aimed at assisting the students to achieve greatness and encourage the students.
