Karu People Should Expect Improved Healthcare Services In No Distant Time -Akala

In no distant time, Samuel Akala, has declared that the people of Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State should expect improved health care services delivery.

Akala, who is the chairman of the area made this known on Monday shortly after a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) in Abuja.

According to the chairman, "healthcare services delivery remains a top priority of our administration.

"In line with the desire of Karu LGC administration to improve Primary Health Care delivery services in her locality, I led council members to a courtesy visit at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency Headquarters, Abuja, where I canvassed strongly for partnership, interventions, capacity building, linkages to Internatinal Donors and NGOs and reliable data generation. This we believe will strengthen health care delivery in our locality.

"I am happy to note that most of the issues received due attention of the Agency, and some granted.

"The citizens of Karu LGA should expect improved healthcare delivery services in no distant time", he said.

Governor Abdullahi A Sule on Thursday commissioned a health facility executed by the local government in Uke.

The Centre is expected to attend to people’s basic health needs and reduce pressure on hospitals by supporting people to manage their health issues.

Governor Abdullahi said the centre is inline with his vision of providing healthcare to all
indigenes of the state.
